Magical Girl is a fun spirited champion who is driven by friendship and spreading love in the popular mobile game Dungeon Hunter Champions from Gameloft. Drawing on these traits and inspiration from Sailor Moon was important to deliver a bubbly, energetic heroine voice. The result was a consistent, charming character that matched the essence of Magical Girl!

In 2018, Chelsea was invited to Gameloft Montreal to be the voice of Magical Girl for the mobile game Dungeon Hunter Champions, an experience that was beyond her wildest dreams as a creator at that time. Bringing a bubbly, heroine voice to this character was such a fun experience that it stuck with her for a few years until she decided to pursue voice over as a career. Working with a great sound designer with guided direction, Magical Girl was brought to life!

Getting into character in the studio was an interesting and exciting experience. Being able to see Magical Girl and her animations helped Chelsea to navigate her personality and add her own touch to the voice.
At Gameloft Montreal, Chelsea gets her first glimpse of the champion she will be voicing. Seeing Magical Girl in action and getting a feel for her skills and movements adds context to developing the voice. The more information the better!
